Sealed bids addressed to Michal Muscarello, City Secretary, City of Webster, “Sealed Bid Project 21-02 Webster City Hall Water Fountain”, 101 Pennsylvania Ave., Webster, TX 77598, will be received until 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at which time they will be read aloud, for furnishing all labor, supplies and supervision necessary for construction in accordance with plans and specifications for the:

Webster City Hall Water Fountain City of Webster Bid No. 21-02

The minor demolition and delegated design of a new water fountain at the entrance of City Hall and related improvements at 101 Pennsylvania Avenue. This project is conjunction with City procured equipment that will be supplied by the City to be installed under this project.

BIDDERS should inspect the site and be knowledgeable of all local conditions. Time of completion shall be 180 calendar days, including weekends and holidays. All bids must be plainly marked with the project name and bid number. No faxed bids will be accepted.

PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS may be examined without charge at City Hall, 101 Pennsylvania Ave., Webster, Texas. Contract documents including bid proposal forms, plans sheets, and specifications for the Project may be viewed and downloaded free of charge by registering with (search: “City of Webster City Hall Fountain”) on or after February 10, 2021.

A NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be conducted at the Webster City Hall, 101 Pennsylvania Ave., Webster, TX 77598 at 10:30 am on Friday, February 19, 2021.

THE ISSUING OFFICE for the bidding documents is PGAL, Inc. located at 3131 Briarpark Drive, Suite 200, Houston, TX 77042. The Architect of Record is Jeff Gerber and is available to be contacted in writing at .

A CERTIFIED CHECK or an acceptable Bid Bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid shall accompany each bid as a guaranty that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into contract with the City of Webster and furnish bonds on the forms provided.

THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER OR BIDDERS will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of the contract in the amount of 100% of the contract.

NO BID may be withdrawn after the scheduled opening for at least ninety (90) calendar days.

THE CITY reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive formalities and award the bid to the lowest responsive and most qualified bidder.
