[ARCHIVED] Webster Power Switch

Power Switch

Join the Webster Power Switch by August 21, 2018. There’s no cost to register and no obligation to switch!

Your electric bill may be one of your the biggest monthly expenses, especially during these hot summer months. A lower fixed rate can help lower your bills year round. The City of Webster is committed to helping you save on your electric bills, which is why we launched the Webster Power Switch.

We’ll form a group together with many other Webster residents and organize an electricity auction among electricity providers. The last three auctions resulted in an average yearly savings of $368 per household.

After the auction, we’ll send every registrant a Personal Offer, letting you know how much you could save with the winning rate. After you receive your Personal Offer, it is completely up to you to decide if you want to accept it or not. There is no obligation.

Register at  It’s totally free, easy to do and will only take you 5 minutes.  Have a recent utility bill handy so you can reference your usage.

Please note: Households in areas served by a member-owned electricity cooperative or a municipal-owned utility are not eligible to participate. There is no cost to the city to offer this service, nor does the city receive any financial benefit.
