Structure on Fire Behind Webster Fire Department TruckOperations

Suppression and Training are two divisions of Operations. It is the responsibility of Suppression to provide front line emergency response and care to the citizens and visitors in our city. It is the responsibility of Training to make sure our firefighters are trained and ready to respond to the very best of their ability.

Fire suppression personnel are also actively involved in public fire education activities in our community.

Operations is staffed by 15 uniformed personnel who are divided into three shifts. Each shift of firefighters is responsible for providing emergency and non-emergency response to our community's needs. The Webster Fire Department has joined in with neighboring fire departments in providing mutual and auto-aid to areas surrounding our city.

Webster Fire Department operates an Engines, 100' Platform, and one Heavy Rescue. The Department also operates special units such as a Wild Land Firefighting Booster Truck, a High Water Rescue Truck, and one Shallow Water Rescue Boat and a Deep Water Rescue Boat.
