Sealed bids addressed to Crystal Roan, City Secretary, City of Webster, "Sealed Bid Project 19-02 Webster Police Department Renovation," 101 Pennsylvania Ave., Webster, Texas 77598, will be received until 2:00 pm Thursday, March 28, 2019, at which time they will be read aloud, for furnishing all labor, supplies and supervision necessary for construction in accordance with plans and specifications for the:

The renovation of two break rooms, property room, crime lab and restrooms at the existing City of Webster Police Department at 217 Pennsylvania Avenue includes the demolition and new build-out of various spaces in the existing building. This project is in conjunction with City pro?cured equipment that will be supplied by the City to be installed under this project.

BIDDERS should inspect the site and be knowledgeable of all local conditions. Time of completion shall be 90 calendar days, including weekends and holidays. All bids must be plainly marked with the project name and bid number. No faxed bids will be accepted.

PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS may be examined without charge at City Hall, 101 Pennsylvania Ave., Webster, Texas. Contract documents including bid proposal forms, plans sheets, and specifications for the Project may be viewed and downloaded free of charge by registering with (search: "City of Webster Police Department Renovation") on or before March 28, 2019.

A NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be conducted at the Webster Service Center, 855 Magnolia, Webster, Texas 77598 at 11:30 am on Monday, March 18, 2019.

A CERTIFIED CHECK or an acceptable Bid Bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid shall accompany each bid as a guaranty that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into contract with the City of Webster and furnish bonds on the forms provided.

THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER OR BIDDERS will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract.

NO BID may be withdrawn after the scheduled opening for at least ninety (90) calendar days.

THE CITY reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive formalities and award the bid to the lowest responsive and most qualified bidder.
